What You’ll Be Doing

 

Cadmus seeks a full-time Senior Capture Manager to support its Corporate Growth Office. This person will play a key role in helping all Cadmus divisions achieve growth goals by leading and shaping capture efforts for key pursuits. He/she should be a self-starter who is comfortable collaborating with technical, operations, growth, and marketing staff across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic capture efforts, developing comprehensive capture strategies and plans to help increase pWin and adjusting strategies as needed to ensure successful outcomes
  • Prepare for and facilitate competitive information sessions (e.g., Blackhat sessions), solutioning sessions, and other key capture meetings.
  • Support strategic accounts with account planning activities
  • Work collaboratively across the divisions and within the company to leverage internal resources, expertise, and relationships, ensuring alignment across key stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on capture progress to key leaders within the divisions and across the firm
  • Develop, track, and report on capture bid and proposal budgets
  • Ensure compliance with key capture requirements
  • Attend client meetings, teaming partner meetings, and industry events related to assigned captures
  • Support capture training efforts across the divisions
  • Support refinement of capture management tools
  • Support proposal activities as needed

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of experience with at least 10 years of BD/Capture experience
  • Experience with and deep understanding of the full business development lifecycle, from identification through a successful close
  • Experience leading capture efforts for $50-100M+ Federal opportunities across multiple agencies
  • Ability to partner and collaborate with a diverse set of staff across the Cadmus divisions, building strong relationships and ensuring engagement and buy-in on complex capture efforts
  • Established network within the GovCon industry
  • Experience with key research tools (e.g., GovWin IQ, GovTribe) and government databases (e.g., USASpending, DSBS)
  • Experience preparing for and facilitating competitive information sessions (e.g., Blackhat sessions), solutioning sessions, and other key capture meetings
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other comparable CRM systems
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong organizational/presentation skills and attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including setting priorities and then adapting to changes in a time-sensitive environment
  • Critical thinking and analytic capabilities, with the ability to solve ambiguous business problems by creating structure, collecting relevant data, and generating actionable insights
  • Ability to work both independently or with diverse team, depending on the needs of the situation
  • Proposal development and color review management

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $180,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
