What You’ll Be Doing

 

Cadmus seeks a highly qualified Team Leader for the anticipated Promoting Growth, Resilience, Economic Stability, and Sustainability in the Philippines (PROGRESS PH) activity. Progress PH is an Australian Government initiative led by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). This five-year initiative, with an investment of AUD45 million, will aim to improve the business enabling environment to encourage investment, promote trade and climate resilience, and strengthen economic and fiscal management, particularly to support clean energy and sustainability of the resources sector.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Provide overall project vision and leadership, manage overall project design and delivery, and guide work planning and technical activity implementation to meet objectives in line with local priorities and Governments of Australia and Philippines priorities.

  • Lead engagement with key stakeholders, including national ministries, municipal governments, local businesses and business associations, civil society organizations and community-based organizations, academic institutions, and the client for effective design and implementation of economic cooperation.
  • Hold primary responsibility for all technical aspects of activity performance as well as the effective, efficient, and timely implementation of all activities including management of staff and consultants, oversight of work plans, risk management, and project financial management.
  • Facilitate a strong learning and performance culture, and foster a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful teamwork environment.
  • Ensure the program is managed in accordance with the agreed governance framework, including safeguarding and child protection, risk management, procurement, probity, and quality.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience implementing donor-funded activities in business enabling environments, promoting trade, climate resilience, strengthening economic and fiscal management.
  • Exceptional strategic, analytical, planning, and solution finding skills.
  • Experience leading Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) funded programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing programs of a similar size and complexity.
  • Experience with, and proven ability to form collaborative relationships with intergovernmental, government representatives, private sector, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience working with donors and governments in the Philippines and or, Southeast Asia.
  • Master's degrees or higher in International Development, Business, or Economics.
  • Minimum 10 years of team supervisory experience in a leadership role.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
  • Understanding of Government of Australia policies and strategies relevant to this program.

The position is contingent upon award and funding.

For employees working outside of the United States, compensation and benefits will vary based on the project and the location.
