What You’ll Be Doing

 

Cadmus is looking for an Analyst to join our London-based program team supporting the management of programs across our portfolio. While primarily focused on program management, the role will support the wider team in developing new business and providing technical support aligned with Cadmus’ areas of expertise, ensuring that assignments are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Cadmus’ UK subsidiary is an integral part of our International Development Division and provides a range of services to UK, EU, and other international donors.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day project management of projects where Cadmus is subbing or smaller, more mature projects
  • Support to the Program Manager on larger and more complex programs with planning and day-today delivery, with responsibility for key program administrative and logistical tasks
  • Assist in the monitoring of project and program implementation, identifying issues and taking corrective action as appropriate
  • Support program financial management, including monitoring expenses, checking and processing invoices, monitoring contracts, forecasting and budget tracking, and assisting with the procurement of goods and services
  • Generate reports, minutes of meetings, presentations, and compile data, in a format that is professional and easy to comprehend
  • Support to the program manager in submitting deliverables and meeting all client deadlines
  • Arrange and attend meetings as and when required
  • Engage with stakeholders and support the delivery of the communication strategy to help support the work of programs and projects
  • Provide inputs to and ensure all program documents are up to date and information kept in accordance with policy
  • Assist in recruitment and selection of program staff, consultants and partners, drafting contracts and conducting due-diligence, and managing contractual relationships with consultants and subcontractors
  • Manage program-related travel, including booking flights, processing visa requests, implementing duty of care policies, and any other necessary travel arrangements
  • Provide operational and backstopping support to program teams
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the London head office and in-country, promoting a positive team environment with good morale, recognizing and respecting the contribution of others and taking the time to listen and understand other views
  • Positively contribute to a safe work environment ensuring compliance with health and safety, risk management, business continuity, data protection and safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Assist and/or coordinate activities in support of business development, technical delivery, monitoring, evaluation and learning, and/or any other duties commensurate with the responsibilities and the role

Qualifications

We are looking for an energetic and proactive candidate committed to working in the international development sector:

  • Minimum 2 years’ work experience and an Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
  • Experience or demonstrable interest of working in international development
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to deliver to a high standard under pressure
  • Willingness to learn and ability to grasp new concepts quickly
  • Outstanding English written and oral communication skills
  • Adaptability and ability to work with diverse teams
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to regularly travel, including to frontier markets, for several weeks at a time
  • Excellent skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint/Teams
  • The right to live and work in UK
