    About the Opportunity

     

    Cadmus’s Homeland Security Sector is seeking candidates for the Research Analyst position to support help desk, configuration, testing, training, and communications work for FEMA’s Non-Disaster Grants System (ND Grants). A Research Analyst is an entry-level position with varied system testing, configuration, training, communications, and administrative responsibilities. Examples include, developing configuration workbooks for preparedness grant programs, creating training materials and communications products, answering help desk inquiries, as well as administering training webinars. A Research Analyst typically supports tasks and reports to a task lead.

    This position will include supporting FEMA’s Grant Programs Directorate at the client site, primarily by developing helpdesk, training, communications, and configuration materials for grant recipients who use the ND Grants. Projects may include developing systems user guides and video tutorials, establishing the ND Grants Service Desk communications platforms and schedule, as well as testing ND Grants following software updates.

     

    Please note: 

    • This position will be located at a client site and finalist must be able to earn FEMA Suitability.

     

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for this position include:

    • Creating and maintaining branded training products, deliveries, and plans to support system users
    • Supporting ND Grants user help desk inquiries
    • Supporting testing events and developing configuration documentation
    • Working directly with government clients and Cadmus supervisors to perform programmatic and administrative tasks, such as scheduling trainings, discussing communications plans, and setting up webinars
    • Analyzing and reporting data to enhance training, communications, and help desk support

    • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as communications or social science, and 0-2 years of experience

    We will also consider these additional qualifications:

    • Demonstrated experience and interest in homeland security and emergency management, grants, and/or grants management systems
    • Experience managing grants for FEMA or other federal, state, and/or local governments
    • Experience developing training and communications products for state and local governments and/or grants management systems
    • Experience supporting government IT systems
