    Cadmus is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join our team.

    Responsibilities

    As a Business Development Coordinator you will have two major areas of responsibility:
    1) identify and track opportunities and 2) coordinate the proposal process from start to finish.

     

    Opportunity Tracking Duties:

    • Review RFP updates provided by RFP monitoring services, key client web pages, etc.
    • Periodically research and recommend other RFP monitoring services for staff to consider
    • Support consultants with tracking other business development opportunities, as needed
    • Support analysis to evaluate effectiveness of Cadmus business development activities

    Proposal Coordination Duties:

    • Coordinate the proposal process to include: preparation of proposal plans; maintaining proposal process discipline; analysis of RFPs and other solicitation documents
    • Development of compliance matrix
    • Execution of color review meetings
    • Writing of proposal sections as appropriate
    • Creation and implementation of proposal graphics
    • Collecting, scheduling and maintaining a proposal resource library
    • Managers often work on tight deadlines,and have to delegate tasks required to complete a proposal, such as writing, editing and other efforts associated with the process
    • Ensure high quality visual presentation and brand consistency throughout completed proposals

    Qualifications

    • 2-3 years of experience
    • Extremely organized and have excellent writing skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Design, or similar area of concentration
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to produce highly polished written communication under time constraints
    • Well-organized and disciplined project management abilities, with capacity to coordinate project activities under tight timelines with a variety of collaborators
    • High level of technological proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is expected
