  • Overview

    Cadmus is seeking an Analyst to join the Energy Services Sector, supporting net-to-gross analysis for energy efficiency programs. Net-to-gross analysis allows Cadmus clients to better understand the effect of a program on energy savings and make decisions about future programs.

     

    Cadmus provides advanced analytic and strategic consulting services to energy companies, utilities, governments, and non-profit organizations. We evaluate energy savings from energy efficiency and demand response rebate programs, and the cost-effectiveness of these programs.
     
    Successful candidates are highly motivated to learn, work collaboratively and independently, manage assigned tasks and projects from start to finish with input from supervisors, and have exceptional written, verbal, and analytical skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Work independently or with supervision to manage research projects and participate in research efforts, ensuring consistency and quality of research methods
    • Document findings for clients through PowerPoint presentations, memos, and reports
    • Conduct primary and secondary data collection
    • Analyze and interpret data to reach meaningful conclusions and recommendations for inclusion in clearly written, concise reports
    • Assist with project management activities such as internal project coordination and budget tracking

    Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree in the social sciences, environmental studies or sciences, business or a related field
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint) and Excel, and good understanding of other standard office software applications
    • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational, detail-oriented skills


    Preferred

     

    • Familiarity with energy sector or utility industry.
    • Experience using statistical software packages (i.e. SAS, SPSS, etc.) 
    • Advanced MS Excel skills.
    • Experience in professional/consulting business environment


    Additional Information

     

    This position is located in Portland, OR. Some domestic travel may be required.
