  • Overview

    • The Energy Services Engineering team at The Cadmus Group in Waltham, MA is currently seeking a part-time summer Engineering Intern to assist with their metering and measurement practice. The ideal candidate is a high school or college student that has hands-on experience with electronics or data analysis.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Work in a test/lab environment and assist with daily operations
    • Test sensors/equipment such as data loggers or temperature probes and perform routine maintenance such as battery replacement or calibration
    • Create simple Excel spreadsheets from logger data
    • Work on a research project that will include measurement, reporting, and occasional presentations to senior staff
    • Assemble data logging equipment
    • Help maintain inventory of thousands of data loggers
    • Ship/receive equipment to/from field staff

     

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 16 years of age and currently in high school or college
    • Coursework or experience in electronics or energy technologies
    • Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, plots, etc.) and PowerPoint
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Access a plus
    • Highly-motivated and a team player
    • Work schedule will likely be up to three days per week during the internship period within the general hours of 9:00am – 5:30pm.

     

    Additional Information

    This position is based in our Waltham, MA office and is a part-time, seasonal internship.
