What You’ll Be Doing
This position will support the restoration and protection of our nation’s rivers, lakes, and coasts by providing technical assistance and managing tasks across multiple contracts with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The selected candidate will deliver high-quality products and services to clients in the areas of watershed and surface water quality management, wastewater treatment, and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit compliance. Depending on candidate interests and staffing needs, this position may also support contracts related to drinking water safety and resilience.
This position requires previous professional experience with NPDES permits for wastewater discharge and one or more additional Clean Water Act programs, such as assessment of surface water quality standards, impaired waters listing, Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs), or nonpoint source pollution management. The selected candidate will apply their knowledge, skills, and experience with Clean Water Act programs and related science, tools, and data to plan and complete activities that include research, data analysis, writing technical documents, and preparing educational, training, or outreach materials.
The position will regularly interact with clients and external federal, state, and local entities to understand their challenges, discuss solutions, present methods and results, and gather feedback. The position will also include project management responsibilities, such as tracking schedules, progress, and budgets, and coordinating support staff.

What You’ll Be Doing
A successful candidate will provide water policy research and analysis support for Cadmus’ Public Services Division/Water Team and will support contracts with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and other government clients. This position will provide support work in the areas of drinking water and water quality. Topics may include lead in drinking water, environmental justice, public health in schools related to lead in drinking water, water system finances, developing cost models, emerging chemical and microbial contaminants in drinking water, regulatory development, assessment of regulated and unregulated contaminants, implementation of grant programs for drinking water systems, state programs, tribes and tribal water systems, and review of existing drinking water regulations. This position requires someone who is highly motivated to perform and learn, able to work collaboratively and independently, detail-oriented, comfortable speaking in public, and able to manage assigned tasks and projects from start to finish with input from supervisors. Candidate must be comfortable performing tasks independently and learning new software with limited supervision. Candidates will have distinguished themselves with academic excellence and a clearly demonstrated work ethic. A successful candidate may work on one or more of the following EPA programs: Lead Service Line Replacement Accelerators, 3Ts for Reducing Lead in Drinking Water, State and Tribal Primacy Support, Building the Capacity of Drinking Water Systems, and Water Utility Operator Certification.

What You’ll Be Doing
Cadmus seeks a behavioral-focused Research Analyst to join the Market Research & Customer Insights team in the Energy Division. The Research Analyst is expected to work with project teams to execute client-funded research activities pertaining to behavior change and demand response in the context of energy management. Many of our clients are utilities who administer behavior-based programs that rely on customer engagement and participation such as home energy reports, peak time rebates, critical peak pricing, and time of use. Our team performs evaluations and market research to assess the effectiveness of these programs and make recommendations for improvement. The Research Analyst will assist project teams in all aspects of evaluation and market research (research design, planning, data collection, analysis, reporting, and presentation).
The Research Analyst should have a committed, strong interest in learning about behavior change and demand response. This position is designed with professional growth and path towards promotion in mind. The Research Analyst should be highly motivated to learn, perform, and grow at Cadmus.
