About the Opportunity


Cadmus’s Homeland Security Sector is seeking candidates for the Senior Analyst position to support training and communications work for its homeland security clients. A Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position with varied training, communications, and administrative responsibilities. Examples include, developing training and communications plans, creating training materials and communications products, as well as setting up training webinars. A Senior Analyst typically leads individual tasks and reports to a project or program manager.


This position will include supporting FEMA’s Grant Programs Directorate at the client site, primarily by developing training and communications materials for grant recipients who use the Non-Disaster Grants system. Projects may include developing systems user guides and video tutorials, establishing the ND Grants Service Desk communications platforms and schedule, as well as devising creative means to improve ND Grants system users’ experience.

 

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Creating and maintaining branded training products, deliveries, and plans to support system users
  • Developing branded messages, communications agendas, and communications plans to enhance outreach to system users
  • Working directly with government clients and Cadmus supervisors to perform programmatic and administrative tasks, such as scheduling trainings, discussing communications plans, and setting up webinars
  • Conducting quality checks of team work products
  • Holding routine check-ins with team members to maintain situational awareness of system status
  • Analyzing and reporting data to enhance training, communications, and help desk support

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as communications or social science, and 3-5 years of experience
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust level of access

 

We will also consider these additional qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience and interest in homeland security and emergency management, grants, and/or grants management systems
  • Experience managing grants for FEMA or other federal, state, and/or local governments
  • Experience developing training and communications products for state and local governments and/or grants management systems
