The Cadmus Group is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Contacts Specialist to support Cadmus’ federal business Sectors. 


Cadmus is a leading provider of environmental and social good consulting services throughout North America.  The Contracts Specialist position provides administrative support in the issuance of contract and subcontract documents, and data input and data management for Cadmus’ Spectrum contract management system.


This position will support corporate and contract-specific reporting and information requirements through data management and administration of Cadmus’ Spectrum contracts database system. Specific activities include data input for project initiation and project updates, information integrity auditing, report creation and generation, tracking outstanding contract items, and supporting project close-out activities.

Under the supervision of senior contracts staff, the Contract Specialist will be responsible for contract and subcontract administration including but not limited to processing or preparing nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements and subcontract agreements; reviewing prime contract requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions to develop appropriate proposal assumptions and subcontractor flow-downs; identifying proposal compliance elements related to subcontracting and ensuring the requirements are adequately addressed, and assisting with  pricing/quote requests and negotiations with subcontractors.

The selected candidate will apply a general understanding of the corporate business model and of profit and loss implications to Cadmus day to day business functions.


  • Bachelor’s degree, or 4 years prior work experience is required
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, demonstrate strong time management skills, and be able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be adaptable to changing work efforts, and able to manage shifting priorities.
  • Must be able to develop and maintain professional relationships with peers, vendors and customers, and contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, teamwork and a positive attitude.
  • Must have excellent MS Word and MS Excel skills and prior experience with database applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous post-collegiate work experience
  • Previous experience supporting federal contracts and/or subcontracts
  • Previous experience working with enterprise-wide database applications in support of corporate operations tracking and reporting
