Overview

The Cadmus Group LLC. is seeking a senior analyst to join our Energy Services Division in the Program Performance Group. This opportunity will allow candidates to focus in on the following areas:

 

Program Evaluation: Work with energy conservation program sponsors to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and portfolios and measure/verify program energy savings impacts.

 

Market Research: Conduct primary and secondary market research projects to inform a variety of client decisions including program design, marketing strategy and optimization, customer engagement, usability.

 

Program Planning: Working with clients to assess potentials for energy savings and design energy conservation programs that capture the maximum savings potential.

 

Candidates should be highly self-motivated to perform and learn, able to work collaboratively and independently, and manage themselves and others in assigned tasks and projects from start to finish with input from supervisors. The ideal candidate will be able to perform both big picture and detail-oriented tasks across wide-ranging, dynamic projects within the Energy Services Division.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement engineering-based impact evaluations and program design projects
  • Conduct primary and secondary data collection efforts as well as data analysis
  • Analyze and interpret data into meaningful conclusions and recommendations for improvement and write results into clear, concise reports. This includes structuring and combining results and raw data into concise and reader-friendly tables and graphics
  • Write and synthesize writing of others for draft and final reports, including results and actionable recommendations
  • Ensure high quality client deliverable in all activities
  • Contribute to proposal efforts
  • Perform project management activities such as internal and client coordination, time and budget tracking

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in economics, engineering or related field
  • Academic or professional experience in any of these areas: economics, statistics, cost-benefit analysis, market research, database management, statistical/economic modeling
  • 5 years of experience in the field of energy management or energy efficiency conducting planning, implementation, or evaluation of energy efficiency programs.
  • Qualitative and quantitative data collection methods, including analyzing data from surveys and secondary research
  • Excellent ability to perform QA/QC checks of own work or other work (including excel tables)
  • Excellent writing, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including setting priorities and adapting to changes in a time-sensitive, deliverable driven workplace; strong organizational, detail-oriented skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel

 

Preferred

  • Graduate degree
  • Experience managing other professionals and/or project management experience
  • Experience in professional/consulting business environment
  • Experience working with survey, and data and statistical analysis platforms such as R, SAS, SPSS, STATA and/or Qualtrics
  • Experience with conducting interviews with trade professionals (e.g. energy auditors, HVAC contractors, appliance retail store managers)

Additional Information

  • This position will be located in our Portland, OR or Boulder, CO offices
  • Some domestic travel may be required (under 15% annually)
